Please remember that we need ALL families to have adults helping at our annual pancake & sausage breakfast.  Shifts are Friday for set-up (daytime and evening shifts), all day Saturday, all day Sunday and Sunday clean-up.  More adults are needed on Sunday than Saturday because that is typically our busier day because of church.  If you have not signed up yet please contact Cathy Beck at 309-838-9924 or  Cathy will begin making phone calls the weekend of the 21st but it's much easier if people contact her instead of her making 50 phone calls....  Thanks in advance!

King Patrol

The Owl Patrol has elected to become the King Patrol in honor of Mr King.  This was the last group mentored by Mr King.

Thank You from Michele King

Thank you so much for all you have done for our family before and after Dave's death.  Before he died you held two "Mr King" days and brought meals for our family on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  You planned Tim's Court of Honor!!  After his death, you assisted with his celebration of life, did the 50 flags display, attended the celebration and sent a generous check to help out.

Breakfast Ticket Sales Challenge

Posted on Feb 4 2015 - 12:04am

Senior Patrol Leader Austin Bicknell informed the troop of a reward if the scouts can out-sell the Wochner brothers in breakfast ticket sales.  This has only happened a few times in recent years, but we’d like to let the scouts know what the reward would be if they can accomplish this.

Merit Badge Blue Cards 4-1-1

Posted on Jul 24 2014 - 6:27am

Merit Badge Blue Cards

Our scoutmaster's have requested that ALL scouts starting any merit badge must have the Scoutmaster's approval before they start any of the requirements! The scout will need to bring the blue card to the scoutmaster for his signature! This is done so the scoutmaster knows who the merit badge counselor will be as well as what the scout is working on! At that time, the scoutmaster can answer any questions or offer any suggestions to the scout! This process is not something that's new! Over the past few months it has been overlooked and our current Scoutmaster's feel that it needs to be done properly!

Boards of Review - Please read

Boards of Review

The committee will hold Boards of Review for scout rank advancement the next Monday after the Scoutmaster's conference has been held. This will give the scout a chance to prepare both mentally as well as physically. Scouts having Boards of Review will need to be in full uniform in order to be considered for rank advancements. This means a scout shirt with all the current patches properly sewn in place. A neckerchief with slide or a scout bolo. A merit badge sash with all merit badges sewn in place. He needs to wear pants that compliment his scout attire! Every scout must bring his scout handbook to the review. We ask that parents please be sure that your scouts be properly uniformed for not only Boards of Reviews but all scout activities including meeting nights.
